Icelandandi folksongs travels to Bulgaria Vol: 2.
Asgeir Asgeirsson releases his second album containing Icelandic folksongs, where he writes new parts and intros and connects them to his heritage with stunning results. Now in collaboratation with his long time friend, accordion virtuoso Borislav Zgurovski and Trakia ensamble from Plovdiv Bulgaria. Many great guests feature on this album from: India, Greece, Austria and Iceland to give it unique blend.
One of Iceland´s finest female singer, Sigríður Thorlacius does all the solo vocals on this album. Special guests in one song are female choir of Plovdiv.

Icelandic multi string instrumentalist/composer Asgeir Asgeirsson started studying Eastern music in 2009. Asgeir has five cd´s in his name, three featuring Icelandic folksongs arranged and inspired by Eastern music.
In 2017 with Yurdal Tokcan and Turkey´s finest musicians.
In 2018 with Borislav Zgurovski and Thrakia ensamble from Bulgaria.
In 2020 with musicians from Iran led by Hamid Khansari.
